A stock whose daily highs and lows stay inside a narrow horizontal band for many weeks — price oscillates between support and resistance without a strong trend.

How does Swing Edge define fifteen weeks?

We use the last 75 trading sessions (~fifteen calendar weeks). The total high-to-low span must be tight and net price change over that window must stay small.

Is this a breakout or breakdown signal?

No. It highlights sideways consolidation for watchlists — not a forecast that price must break up or down.
